Novotel Canberra

Great location - walkable distance to Lonsdale street and the Canberra centre. Room was a nice size, nothing special but just what we needed. Comfy beds. Pool was great for the kids. We used a self check in counter so actually had no interaction with staff at all which was a little weird but really easy.

Reception were helpful and stored my bag and helped me with the self-check in. I really like this feature. The pool sauna and spa were great but note pool is not heated. The room itself was comfortable and the bed was really comfortable. It was great having tram out the front and ezymart downstairs.

Location was fantastic , 200meter walk and you were at the shopping centre .

The location was great. We were in Canberra to attend a party which was just around the corner, so it worked out very well for us. Also, there was parking underneath which was very convenient (at an additional cost). When we checked in we asked for (and were granted) a late check out the following day. In the end we didn't need it but it was nice to have that option.
